Previous projects
The Med in Hove
This was a really fun design project. The customer had previously had most of the garden decked with composite but had one corner that he wanted to have as a tranquil retreat. He was keen to reuse some materials and curios he had collected over the years. Due to the aspect we were able to go for a Mediterranean courtyard feel with lavender, convolvulus fabulous Italian cypress a lovely olive tree, creeping rosemary and santolina to name but a few. We repurposed an old pump in to a working water feature and used reclaimed bricks for the path. The slatted cedar fence created a great backdrop.
Spanish style courtyard in the Seven Dials

This was a job we did in partnership with Glorious Gardens of Sussex. We transformed a nondescript courtyard into a great entertaining space with two floating benches, slatted fencing and lots of planting space.
Terraced patio in Fiveways
The previous garden was ugly and a little dangerous. We built a new retaining wall and raised the patio level to make the most of views out over Brighton. Smooth sandstone paving was laid on the top terrace and artificial turf laid on the lower level. A cedar floating bench and cedar fencing completed the hard landscaping. The planting and design were supplied by Glorious Gardens of Sussex.
Block paving driveway

We removed a large area of old worn concrete driveway and created a large modern driveway. Some of the existing walls were rendered and we created a rendered raised bed at the front.
Pond and patio in Warninglid
Another design by Glorious Gardens of Sussex. The aim was to provide a quiet spot away from the main patio by the house. We used local Horsham stone for the dry walling and shot blasted smooth sandstone for the paving.
Front courtyard in Warninglid
A great project in a fantastic property.
Lovely palate of materials including Coreten steel , clay pavers and some gorgeous limestone paving.
Garden overhaul in Rottingdean
This rear garden needed completely taking apart and starting again. We tired to utilise some of the existing terracing but added some different materials including gabion baskets Coreten steel and oak as well as resin bound aggregate. Fantastic design by Claire Winchester.
Three new gardens in Burgess Hill
A developer was creating three new flats and wanted to provide each with some outside space. As you can see from the first photo it was a bit of mess before we started. Each garden ended up with a lovely flat area of lawn and a patio. The fencing went in shortly afterwards.
